Selvaag Invest have organized its business into three segments, private equity, shipping and financial investments. Our strategy is to invest within industries where we can use our experience to identify good investment opportunities.
Private Equity
Within private equity we pimarily seek to invest in companies where we through acitve ownership can influence the companies future development. A initial investment can be MNOK 10-30. If the investment requires less involvment we may make exceptions.
We have a broad invesment focus, but the following business sectors are especially interesting:
- Oil technology/Energy
- Shipping
- Fish Farming
- Financial
- Other technology or growth business
Financial investments
Selvaag Invest has always had a portfolio of financial investments which include marketable shares, funds, bonds and certificates. How much we invest in the share market is dependent on our appraciation on the macroeconomic outlook.
Shipping
Selvaag Gruppen has in fluctating extent invested in shipping since the 1950's. In the years form 1996 most of Selvaag's investmensts in shipping has been through Selvaag Shipping who is involved in more than 30 projects, administrated by a range og companies.
